Herbalists without Borders

I’m proud to serve as a local Chapter Coordinator for Herbalists Without Borders, a global nonprofit working to increase access to herbal knowledge and holistic health for all—especially in underserved and marginalized communities.
In the HWB Red River Valley chapter, we focus on local plant education, seasonal plant walks, and creating care kits to share herbal support with those in need. My goal is to make herbalism approachable, practical, and rooted in respect for the land and one another.
Some of the things our chapter focuses on include:
- Outdoor plant walks during the growing season to help people connect with the plants in our region
- Indoor workshops in the colder months focused on using and preparing the plants we’ve gathered
- Herbal care kits to support community wellness with safe, thoughtful remedies
If you’re local and interested in getting involved, whether you’d like to join a class, help assemble care kits, or just connect, reach out! Herbalism thrives in community.
